I’m so tired of seeing “this team isn’t serious”. They say it one time on tsn 1050 overdrive and it becomes the go to criticism every time we’re losing.

That said, this game has been severely irritating. How do you drop both games against a team that doesn’t even half 50 points. Like not just they were losing but we look like absolute shit.

They arent serious.

Ive always used the unrealistic analogy that if a team had to play as if their life depended on it, they would never lose. They dont play with any commitment. Fly by scorers, take a shot and fly by, they dont stand in to get the dirty goal, to will themselves to beat a team.

Its been a flawed team for nearly a decade and people protected their jobs, ignoring what any life long NHL viewer knew a long time ago.
