It's poetic justice they didn't pull off the full comeback tonight. Those all-skill plays Matthews and Marner tried pulling at the end of OT and the two of them getting shut down in the SO, Woll letting them down once again. They didn't deserve to be rewarded for that.

I think this says more about San Jose than it does the Leafs. Can't wait to light it up for family and friends back home who might be watching on national TV then pack it in for the rest of the season. Great to be a SJ fan I'm sure.

We have blown a lot of third period leads this year. We've been bad in other periods too, but the third is our worst by far.

In addition to our late third period heroics tonight, we've also lost every single shootout this year except for two.

You guys of course know which two. Our hero from the last game got sent to Ottawa for screwing up our tank.
