We used to get them easily, remember clark, Roberts, Tucker, gilmour, tie domi, corson, marchment, Bryan mccabe, etc. Players like this are woven in the DNA of the maple leafs.

Since the lockout we struggled to obtain these kind of players, gritty and physical players with edge that could play hockey well. We need a prime Milan lucic and Claude Lemieux on the top of 6 of this team so bad.

Because the Cap space isn't there and they burned all their assets trying to prop up players who just dont have what it takes to play with the men in this league.

I’m so tired of seeing “this team isn’t serious”. They say it one time on tsn 1050 overdrive and it becomes the go to criticism every time we’re losing.

That said, this game has been severely irritating. How do you drop both games against a team that doesn’t even have 50 points on their season. Like not just that they are losing but we look like absolute shit.

With that said, i could still see them having post season success. 1) the playoffs are nothing alike with regular season 2) there really are no teams that are especially better in the East. Florida and Tampa put up their fair share of stinkers as well
