I would say Staal's GWG also was the fault of Rielly and Zaitsev for both going behind the net to play the one opposing player behind the net leaving the slot completely open. It was a team mistake not entirely Bozak's. If Zaitsev stayed where he was it wouldn't have been a goal or if Rielly made that poke check it wouldnt have been a goal.

Beaulieu is hot garbage and DD is even worse.

Montreal is nothing but a 1 player team. The team is junk without Price.

Bozak would be the #1 C in Montreal.

He's a 1C in Toronto and look where you guys are in the standings.

Bozak is not on our list of players to trade for, send him somewhere else.

Matthews, Nylander and Kadri alll say Hi. All young high caliber Centers coming up.

Bozak is a better face off man than anyone in Montreal.

Its funny that Leaf fans thump their chests in pride when they see this instead of realizing how sad it is that this is all you can be proud of. Perhaps if your team wasn't an embarrassment to the league you could pick a recent win against us (except you've lost 12 straight) or an accomplishment independent from our rivalry (no playoff series wins in over a decade) instead of a fight from almost 4 years ago. A fight were neither Hab still plays in Montreal and neither Leaf still plays in the NHL.

But yeah, that video exemplifies perfectly Bozak's defensive awareness and the Leafs superiority to the Habs...

Lol....show me ONE post in which any Leaf fan said the Leafs are superior to the Habs. We completely understand what the Leafs are. I am sure the Habs can easily overcome the loss of 2 roster centers for the next 2 months...i mean come on...they're the Habs!!

You didn't bother to read the thread because you'd have realized the original poster is not a Montreal fan.

I'll say it again, we don't want Bozak in Montreal for Beaulieu, trade him to another team. Did this get through to you???

I know what you said and is false no matter how you slice it. He's closer to a 60 point player than a 45 point player, is it okay for me to go around calling him a 60 point player? No?

Some leafs fan keep saying Bozak is a 60pts player. The guy never reached 50 pts in his career! Fair enough he would have reached it if he did not get hurt some years, but regardless he never did! All while playing with Kessel most of his career.

The only 60 plus number tied to him is his accumulated plus minus which is a big -83!

Also to those saying he would currently be the Habs #1C. Did you guys forget about Pleckanec. Granted he has a bad start of the year, but he is a better player than Bozak.

Bozak has had the chance of centering Elite players in his career which boosts his assists numbers. Look at last year where he wasn't playing with Elite players... 35 pts.

He is definitely not junk like some people have been saying, but simply a great 3C/capable 2C.

Wow, imagine, our 1 player team is not at the bottom of the standings like your All Star lineup...

Bozak should not be a #1 center on any team in the league. He is a complimentary player, at best. He is a taller DD. Bozak's best offensive output is still worse than DD's 2nd best output. So, Bozak is no better than DD defensively, and is less productive offensively, overall. Yup, sounds like a guy every team would want as their #1 center...:help:

Again, I am so happy that Bozak is finally playing like a top 6 forward thanks to guys like Matthews, Nylander, Marner, etc... However, if you think he is suddenly a 1st line center on any team in the league, well it explains a lot about your lack of knowledge about hockey on display here.

Just a little information: Price is our best player, and he is the main thing that makes us go. That is 100% true. However, even without Price, our team was not as bad last year as yours was at the end of the season...;) Still, feel free to keep Bozak as a top 6 center and let me know how the bottom of the standings feel, again, at the end of the season.

To other Leafs fans, I am sorry to be a bit harsh on your team, but ignorant posts like the one I just replied to only deserve the best of the worst, if you know what I mean.

Leafs fans thought PAP was worth a 1st last year (well some said 2nd + prospect at the very least), how can you argue with a fanbase who thinks like that? It's best to just let them realize their own mistakes when the time comes.

PAP wasn't traded last deadline.

And some Montreal fans think Tavares is worth Pacioretty and Scherbak.

Don't be so ignorant.

He wasn't traded (most likely) because he had no value and management preferred keeping him instead of getting a 4th or 5th round pick!

 does that apply to all players not traded last deadline or just Leafs?
