Laval Rocket: Toronto Marlies vs Laval Rockets 7:00 EST

Asking here as well in case people don't check the stickied Laval thread:

Does anyone know if RDS shows away games during the playoffs? I know they only do home games during regular season but I wondered if that changed during the playoffs.

Damn what an awful giveaway by the Marlies at offensive blueline on their own PP.

Dauphin steals it & goes in on a breakaway. He goes 5-hole on Murray, goal. Shorthanded. 20th goal of season for Dauphin, who imo, has earned a two-way NHL contract for next year.
Not that I wanted him leaving Laval because he’s so important, but the Habs need a centre. Why they didn’t call him up is beyond me. At this stage, he’d be leaps and bounds better than Beck and Roy. I understand you want to develop prospects, but you also want to win, don’t you? I get that maybe they have to sign him? Going into the playoffs (hopefully) with Roy though? Probably not your best option.

Definitely their best effort in a while. They are going to have to become more disciplined as the stretch run approaches. They have a shit ton of road games to end the season and their PK isn't close to being as good as it is at home.
The funny thing is, both their specialty teams are top 8! You wouldn’t know that watching some of the games though.

Beck's line has no Identity right now. I'm not sure what they are supposed to be but they need someone who can be a reliable F1. Mesar and Davidson aren't effective and Beck is playing as a F3.
Ya Beck has been very quiet for a while now. Same with Davidson. I actually think Mesar has looked his best so far the past couple games though. He’s getting more ice time than before I think.

Good win. 3-0 final for Laval. Primeau with the shut-out. Dauphin scores all 3 goals.
I get the sense that if these guys go far, quite a few vets will return next year. They’ve got to be happy with the team. I get that they tend to go where they think they have a shot at the nhl, but a good environment is important as well. Plus, there won’t be an influx of rookies coming in next year, so they’ll need bodies. Fowler could very well be the only rookie.

I think Rohrer, Sam Harris and even Oliver Kapanen will be on the team next year. I think they're gonna be a nice addition for Laval.

He doesn't have an NHL contract. He's only on an AHL contract, so they can't call him up. They would have had to sign him to a two-way NHL/AHL contract prior to the trade deadline then waive him to return him to Laval.

Dauphin is not an nhl player. He won't help the habs more than Beck and Roy who have a good chance of becoming legitimate NHL players.

Sadly TVA has rights to all games. Oops ignore thought this was hab related.

I was thinking them as well, but Kapanen might be on the Habs, Rohrer and Harris I think it just depends on if they want to sign and if Hughes wants them. Rohrer may just go back to the Swiss league. It’s not like he’s been a key prospect either.

One things for sure, there won’t be any D coming in.

Ya I figured that, but they still could’ve done it. They knew Dach was out.

Dauphin is more an nhl player today than Beck and Roy. That’s my point. Plus he actually has close to 100 nhl games. Do you see Roy helping the Habs in the playoffs this year? I don’t.

The PK as of today is ranked 15th and the PP tied for 14th OA but there's about 10 teams that are all within .05% of each other as Laval's PP has mostly been near the bottom 10 for much of the year.
