Dauphin is more an nhl player today than Beck and Roy. That’s my point. Plus he actually has close to 100 nhl games. Do you see Roy helping the Habs in the playoffs this year? I don’t.

Dauphin won't be helping the habs even if he's in the lineup. He'll just be a warm body like a Pezzetta. Roy may or may not help, but the possibility of him contributing is there since he's young with a lot of untapped potential.

The PK as of today is ranked 15th and the PP tied for 14th OA but there's about 10 teams that are all within .05% of each other as Laval's PP has mostly been near the bottom 10 for much of the year.

No. Gotta disagree. Do you watch Laval games? Comparing him to Pezz is way off. Dauphin would do a lot better right now (and is a centreman) than Roy. Who cares about “untapped potential “ right now in a playoff race? I want a guy who can actually help today. Roy’s 8 games with no points isn’t exactly helping. Dauphin is a very intelligent and skilled player.

Well Dauphin is not going to help. He'll just be a warm body. There's a reason why he's 29 years old and not an NHL player. His impact on the ice won't be much different than what it has been from Roy so far this season. Roy could actually be way better than what he's been so far, and contribute to the team's success.
