Laval Rocket: Toronto Marlies vs Laval Rockets 7:00 EST

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Because youre acting like thinking a player should have been ranked higher is an issue when that same group that thought that is still here.

Mailloux is a fine prospect.

Yeah, it was not only an issue, but a huge one and why Timmins went a whole decade of drafting duds with his first picks.

I don't why you keep repeating that first sentence either. It's false. Guys, just take a minute and validate what you say before posting it.

Ben Shutron (Canada scout), Billy Ryan, Albie O'connell, Mark Mullen, Joey Tenute have all been added with new management. That is like 5 out of 7 north american scouts. This is not including Bobrov or Chris Boucher, or Lecavalier and Gorton also doing scouting and being involved in drafting up the list, nor mentioning Timmins is gone, someone who had significant influence. I would also add that management philosophy will have a significant impact on draft lists.

He is a decent/fine prospect with tools and a (currently) slow processor. Never should have been on any top 15 list.

Engstrom has had 2 outstanding opportunities in this period.

Murray diving in his crease like a big twerp. He takes a bump and goes end over end like a bowling pin.

Beck's line has no Identity right now. I'm not sure what they are supposed to be but they need someone who can be a reliable F1. Mesar and Davidson aren't effective and Beck is playing as a F3.

So, a board that overrates a player who produced the most as a winger with the top line convinced a bunch of people he would be a better centre than Suzuki despite being atrocious on the dot is a good enough sample ?

Mailloux put up 25 goals, almost a ppg and then proceeded to put up over a ppg in the playoffs for London, with 8 goals would make him a highly regarded prospect.

Yeah if you look at only points he's a fine prospect but then you have to actually watch the game.
