GDT: Toronto Maple Leafs vs Edmonton Oilers *10PM on TSN*

If they still used those rules, there would likey be no penalties so far.

Almost all soft calls. Even Oilers penalty was fairly soft.

Well at least we are not paying to watch this kind of game management in person.
I mean if this is how they want to do it please just flip a coin to see who wins, never drop the puck and save us all the time and attachment. Let bettman and that f***ing monkey from tsn sim NHL whatever to decide the winner

I would imagine back thank that ref would get thrown into a garbage bin, laughed at, and told to stay in the can till the game was over

I'm in the same boat. It's not like there's anything to lose at this point. They arent giving us calls anyways. Someone posted earlier that Matthews hasn't had a penalty taken on him this season. That's amazing. Call the league out. Call the refs out.

yup i can't stand the direction the game has been going in. it's sad to see some of these get called. im all for obstruction getting called but what tf do calls like that prevent? they stand no risk of injury at all

Seriously. And to anyone saying it will get worse. How? They are already making up calls left right and centre. The refs gonna call 2 more crap calls a game? At this point who cares. Call a Spade a Spade and force the league to do something, like

Fire Walkom and Campbell.
