I'm not going to forgive management or coaching if they don't call this out. Your fans don't deserve this crap.

Remember when refs used to give out make up calls to counter a weak penalty to one team? Pepperidge Farms remembers.

I didn't like that crap, but at least it seemed like an effort to have an evenly called game, rather than attempting to alter the outcome of a game.

I've seen about 50 slashes/hooks/interefence penalties against the Leafs that were worse than 3 of the penalties against us.

ANOTHER joke of a game.

Now solidly in second for the worst PP share in the league and I'd have to accept it if the team was actually guilty of being careless or dirty but it feels like literally half the penalties are phantom calls now. They make no sense.

It's not the team being dirty. Its the refs. Light stick checks and staying in your skating lane are not penalties......and they are happening multiple times throughout the game from both teams so its not consistent.

These Refs are AWFUL. Learn your friggin craft. I hope they get calls from up top blasting them for this crapshow.

Does any serious person think this is a careless, dirty team?

I hate this 'cause even if the team wins, I'm gonna be pissed. Fix this garbage.

As much as I think it's a bad idea, f*** it, embarass them. Make a stink about it. Why is it we can all be called out for being bad at our jobs but these guys can't? There's zero accountability for the refs and the media pretends its not an issue. I'm glad O'Neill called them out a bit at least.

Make up calls don't exist for the Leafs. It's only ever our opponent that gets mercy for a bad call against them.

I'm past the point of even giving a shit if they make it worse for us for the rest of the season.

Who cares, they'll just f*** us over next time when they see fit. The fans don't deserve this shit.

Don't forget when Oilers were trailing in the third period against the Jets so refs gave Oilers two power plays in the final 10 minutes and Oilers scores the gwg on one of those PPs with .06 left on the clock.

I don't want makeups per se, I just want calls to be honest and legit.

I'm quite perplexed how A guy can drop a knee on a goalies head and not even receive A penalty let alone a suspension. Then you have a game like tonight (which I am sacrificing sleep to stay up and watch lol)
 
Missed the first two again, but from what I've been seeing and reading its been awful reffing.

Are we playing well tho?
 
Imagine just getting into hockey today?

I know it's late and the kids are probably in bed but oh man. Tapping a guy's stick with your stick imagine calling that in the 70s against Boston or Philly? LMAO I dunno if the players would rip your head off or die laughing.
