Bahaha no way bro. Oil will live and die with Koskinen before they put Skinner.

At some point he HAS to play, Koskinen can't play every night.

The Leafs can get away with playing Freddy every night because after Saturday they have 5 days off and then by that time Campbell should be relatively close to returning as he was only expected out a couple weeks.

The Oilers don't know when Mike Smith is coming back, and even if they did, it's Mike Smith.

At some point they HAVE to play Stuart Skinner. Or make a move but Koskinen can't play every night.

They would play Smith then once he's back or make a trade. Skinner is just there warming up the bench.

If the Oil are stupid enough to give him a game, go for it. By all means.

Koskinen already played both games against Leafs. Why not again?

He might and probably will but that's 10 straight games at that point that's why I'm saying at some point either they make a move or Stuart Skinner plays because surely can't play 15-20 straight games

I’d roll Engvall-Spezza-Boyd as a fourth line

Anderson was fine and will get another chance but I think Boyd was better. Spezza won’t sit two in a row. Those two on his wing give a lot of speed and quickness to work with

I bet Dermott gets back in too
I agree with this. Spezza can go back to wing like he was much of last year of last year too which will help at his age. Just switch out with Boyd after the faceoff (or Engvall, but Boyd played C over Engvall last game).
Engvall-Boyd-Spezza I'd bet is the Fourth line tonight

Gotta say I’m loving the new Northern division rivalries.
Not even 10 games in and we already have bad blood with Jets and Flames. It’s going to make the next match ups against those teams pretty intense.
Maybe these next two games is where things get nasty with the oilers.

This is a potentially massive two game set.
You win both these games and EDM will be 10pts behind us and already in a big hole.

I work overnights taking a "personal day" tonight hope I don't have too many pops before the game starts so I can at least remember it

Add in public enemy #1 PLD joining Winnipeg...it’ll be fun to watch and see if the boys learned something from the play ins last year

I missed the 3rd period the other night (fell asleep during intermission). I can't see how tonight will be any better. Sigh.
