I dont like all the offensive defense men, we need some sturdy solid scrappy stay home defensive minded players.
I was hoping Holzer and Fraser would be playing tonite, especially with the grit the Habs have.

I'm about an hour and a bit north of you, but we have AM920 which comes from Owen Sound. Doubt it reaches London, but it might.
 
6.5 hours to go....I don't think I can take it.

At least it's only 2.5 to go till Pens/Flyers.

You should 've figured by now that Carlyle never mentions his starters. Media just predicts based on who is home or away net.

Or even better, try mapleleafs.com to see if there are any videos where Carlyle names the starter.
 
Kostka makes the most sense... either way whoever was put in that spot is only there until Gardiner is back and Kostka plays the closest type game to Gardiner.
 
WRT to Komarov-- I haven't been as excited to watch a player in a Leaf uni since Kessel's first game. For different reasons obviously, but man, I really hope he brings the edge into the show
 
I dont get to see the Marlies that much, partly due to the fact I live in Wpg and was wondering how Kostka played. I know he is a solid PP specialist just didnt know how he is defensively. Komi better be bringing it, or its his butt out the door.

But that's because we have such a large fan base..we attract the coverage.

My uncle was telling me how he met a Leaf fan in Hong Kong during his business trip. Not just one...they had a lot of fans and had meetings set up to watch the games etc.

I'd be curious to know if any one has even heard of the Senators/Jets etc outside of NA.
 
Sort of OT:

I hope Cherry finally stops ranting about Americanisation of Leafs.. not that important, but quite a bit has changed in last year or so.

Leafs now have a Canadian GM, Head coach, top draft pick, captain, two alternate captains, and even a hometown Leafs fan playing (or on 23 man roster) this year.
