I would have preferred DL to sign Mitchell over Greene, but I get the difference in cap hit, the injury concerns and likely some loyalty towards Greene being one of the original building blocks (plus being younger).

McNabb I dont mind but his foot speed or lack there of is concerning at a young age. Its only going to get worse. Still dont mind his development and play.

AA has not impressed me one bit. Maybe we need to give him a series of games in a row to get his rhythm and legs, but he's going to need to do more.

Richards may get hate, but he's such a smart player. Hope he can put it altogether for us.

This is vintage Terry Murray hockey. Get a lead , bludgeon the other team to death , and play smothering defense.

So far Nolan and Andy have not raised to Sutter's challenge. May see Shore Wed/Saturday.

Andy has played a really lack luster game for a guy that is probably playing for his career.

Playing for his career? Sutter alluded earlier to the fact some guys are on the team because they have to be. Common sense would say AA is one of those guys, due to not being waiver exempt. The fact they dont want to lose him on waivers suggests that other teams would be interested. Teams NOT as good as LA who would have a regular spot for him, hence prolonging his career. I would say him playing poor at this point may be more beneficial.

See Thomas Hickey, Brian Boyle, Matt Moulson for example who struggled to find ice time in LA, just like AA is. Hasnt hurt their career.
