I’m positive Keefe is looking for any reason to start Murray over Samsonov in game 1. Bully for him that Murray can’t stop allowing 4 goals every time he’s out there.
Having 7 D means you dont have 6. Having 2 goalies means the you dont have 1. This will be the downfall. Offense and possession game might come back but all it takes is a team entering the zone and terrible things happen.

I still haven't looked it up and still don't actually believe that we had home ice in the first round last year, but you know what?
I looked up kimosabe, not because I've never heard it before (I'm a middle aged man) but because I wanted to know what the context of using that could be, because if I was being insulted it didn't feel like that. It's a super nice word that I might start using in all sorts of situations because it works with people you are trying to offend and also people you are trying to buddy with, interesting.

Rielly out of the lineup against the Panthers and Leafs defense looks solid. Rielly back in the lineup against the Canes playing almost 22 mins and Leafs defense looks mediocre again. Coincidence?? Hmmmm......

Leafs would play the same way 20 game and they would win 19 of those 20... but for a reason tonight leafs paid for every mistake they did in that game... but in reality this game is one of 3-4 best game leafs played all year long... nothing tonworry about it

Unfortunately Keefe is the coach so they can't take advantage of the last change anyway.
Kanes were very lucky tonight. Leafs were very good tonight. Max effort from everyone. It happens.

start at around 27 seconds and look at keefe defending holl (just one example) after game 4.
Then Holl completely Fs up in Game 6 OT
Then in game 7 he takes an interference penalty where I called it even before the ref did. I was so pissed at Holl already after Game 6 OT and after Game 7 I was absolutely disgusted by that plug
Not even mad, we played a great game. Shit happens sometimes. That 4th goal was just horrendous though, the rebound control and then being that far away from the puck. That can't happen. Overall though great effort, Matthews was absolutely dominating once again. One of the rare times I'm pretty happy after a loss, great effort can't win them all. If we lose games, I would prefer it to be like that. Maximum effort and playing good hockey, on to the next one.
They played well tonight. Shame about the weak rebound control on Murray at the end.
