Almost as bad as Noah Dobson luckily 1 mill cheaper
70 vs 47 pts this past season. Do I expect that divide to continue ? I don’t. But I think both will be 50-60 pt guys most years( assuming pp usage ) . Being 4 years younger is obviously an advantage in Dobson corner

ChatGPT didn't claim he was used as a penalty kill defenseman. Only that he logged minutes. Everything else it had said was bang on. This guy helped drive the offense on your PP and was logging the most ice time out of all your defensemen 5v5. He's not a f***ing 4-7 he may have BEEN a 4-7 defenseman but he evolved into something more last year and was used as such.

imagine being butt hurt you lost 1 of your top d pairings to a division rival and then trying to claim he's really just a 4-7 defenseman?

Tampa should have paid this guy. I get that he was due for a raise but it's Tampa! you probably could have gotten him for 7 if you just gave him term. Just so we are clear here...you don't DIE as a player because you are 30.

Tampa clearly disagrees

We have plenty of space, just didn't think he was worth it

Tampa has a better defense than Toronto.

They still have Moser, Hedman and Cernak.

They didn't desperately need Raddysh. The Leafs had to add a top four d-man with top two potential, and he was probably the best one they could get without having to give up someone like Knies.

I do think a team would have given him a higher average if he had become a UFA. I think they made the length eight years to bring down the average.

The first five or six years will define the contract. We'll see how well it works out.

Good story for a player that went undrafted.

His big slap-shot earned him a lifetime of wealth.

Definitely do not think that this is the best contract in the league, but the Leafs desperately needed to upgrade their blue line and this guy is a definite upgrade from what they had last year.
