Nothing in my post had anything to do with Boston.

But since you brought it up, Boston doesn’t win so much as the Leafs lose in the 7th games but their own mistakes. The fact there always are 7 games is because we do beat you, and our D is now better than it has been in years and I’m sure we aren’t done.
Take a poll here leafs D with newly shiny Brodie toy vs Bruins D. As the great Clint Eastwood said go ahead make my day.

This is a great deal any way you look at it.

I do my fair share of criticising when it comes to Dubas but its fair to give him credit where it's due also.

Reasonable deal, good player, fills a need.

Man I’m sad about this. He’s a solid top 4 D, great deal too. Would’ve taken him back at that value. treat him well Toronto. Don’t make him another Gardiner/Barrie.

Smooth skater, can play 25 minutes, can play PK, can skate the puck out of the zone, excellent with his stick in breaking up plays, excellent outlet pass. Won't put up massive point numbers, will most likely average 30 points a season.

All these dorks ITT who call him a #3 or a 2nd pairing d-men are clueless, out to lunch, have never watched him play, jealous, insecure, don't understand defence, trolls. Without Brodie, Gio doesn't win the Norris. Brodie pretty much was the reason why the Flames made the playoffs in 2015 when Gio was hurt.

There is so much ignorance ITT about Brodie.

Thank you for writing this up. Oh, what does ITT mean?

I am a Sens fan, I just don’t know much about Brodie. Plus I figured it would be nice for other people to know more about him. Especially Leaf fans.

Living in Alberta, I do know about him.

TJ Brodie is a Left shot but he plays the right side, he bring decent offense which some will say we don't need but Tyson Barrie and Cody Ceci are gone so we could use that, not that Ceci provided a ton of offense but Barrie provided offense.

Difference Is Brodie is much MUCH better defensively than Barrie, Barrie is ALL offense.

This is a MASSIVE upgrade to Toronto

Now you got

Brodie Rielly

Holl Muzzin

I don't like Justin Holl but he does work with Muzzin and that is a legitimate top 4.

Rielly FINALLY has a legitimate partner
