set to lose in the first rd once again ...that's a decent price for Toronto
if they can somehow ship out Mrazek with a 1st for MAF, they would be set

The value is fine, but like the boosh trade, it doesn't move the needle. That's the issue. Could have used those assets towards something better. Most people were assuming a 1st + before the trade was finalized.
Now that it's 2 2nds and a 3rd for Giordano with retention + Blackwell, the Leafs are stupid?
Can't win on the main boards
But it is funny to watch some posters get salty when Dubas does good things. HahahaMost people were assuming a 1st + before the trade was finalized.

they have the great misfortunate of most likely playing one of the Florida teams but all 3 teams loading up will make it very entertainingset to lose in the first rd once again ...
Within said sample size, he’s not wrong though is he?
But up to now, even if it makes you a bit more than a hair salty, he’s right.Ask again next off-season and it may be true.
like what???? apparently you only need 1 side to make a deal lolThe value is fine, but like the boosh trade, it doesn't move the needle. That's the issue. Could have used those assets towards something better.
I just laugh at them all. The Leafs CLEARLY did very well on this trade. Many 1st round picks become NHLers, but the percentage drops a lot by the 2nd round, and it's way down for the 3rd round. So yes, they sent away some futures, but the odds of these picks becoming NHLers is very low. And we shored up the blueline with a very good defensive guy and added a pest. WIN.

The second he gave to Arizona to take Ritchie was 2025. He will be at his kids soccer game in 3 years as thousands off Leafs fans wonder where their second round pick went
More likely Ritchie in NHL or Dubas GM of Leafs
I don't have all the GM's phones tapped, but I'm guessing that Dermott and 3-2nds could get you something other than a little depth. Change one of the 2nd's to a 1st, and you have Lindholm value. At least he moves the needle some.like what???? apparently you only need 1 side to make a deal lol

Stop being so effing logical.

Find any post of mine even remotely similar. Anything can happen in the playoffs, but you're also ignoring these people are going off past history. It's the same as a Buffalo fan saying, next year is definitely our yearIt literally doesn't matter what trades the Leafs made, the same group of you would be in here with "doesn't matter, first round exit" ready to spam.
Cringe is usually the person splitting straws no? That’s you here by a country mile. I’m not attached to a play I’ve never seen play, but let’s call a spade a spade. You don’t want to admit the leafs appear to have made a nice pick in the second round. Sucks.Using the word salty is incredibly cringe worthy in fairness. Also, no, one strong season does not magically turn a late second round pick into a top 15 pick, or even a first round pick. That is simply homer optimism as fans attach themselves to their team's prospect. Off topic regardless.
The assets in the Ritchie deal + this one? Or are you just saying neither is a significant add?The value is fine, but like the boosh trade, it doesn't move the needle. That's the issue. Could have used those assets towards something better.
