He'll play #3c until someone better comes along.I'm not sure if Laughton is a long term 3c here. Might have to force it for this playoffs and address it properly in the offseason.

Oh boy do you sound like a fairweather Leafs fan. It's been 2 games, let him get used to his team and linemates...A horrendous trade for the leafs as of now. Good work Philly on gaining from our GMs stupidity. We never learn over here.
He was the worst player on the ice in both games for both teams 2 games in

That’s why I said as of now and I also read the posts from Philly fans. Very few people were sad to see him go from what I read. He is just mehA horrendous trade? the man has been a Leaf for about 80 hours and hads played 2 games can we let him adjust to his new team and new system before we judge the trade? Philly won't even get to use the 1st for another 2 years.
I enjoyed Grebs as much as anybody but he's not going to be what decides who won that tradse.
As a Philly fan we were happy to see them trade him as he does not fit the rebuild. Should have traded him when they demanded 2 1ts for him at the draft 2 years ago as that package was better than this one. He is a solid player for a third line. Plays physical, very good on the PK doesn't need PP time to get his points. That’s why I said as of now and I also read the posts from Philly fans. Agreed. Laughton will be fine with the Leafs, once he adjusts. He's a solid checker, has some offensive skill, hits, fights, and is an excellent PKer and SHG threat. He's someone the Leafs needed and he will help them. The issue with Laughton was never Laughton himself. He's a perfectly cromulent middle sixer, great guy for the room, all of that. If we were a contending team all this time, it'd have made perfect sense to keep him. The issue is that we needed to start a rebuild, and the idiots in charge couldn't bring themselves to let go of their binky and make the needed changes for YEARS. Laughton should have been a Leaf starting in 2021, not 2025.
He looks so slow out there. Was the worst player on the ice for their last two gamesAgreed. Laughton will be fine with the Leafs, once he adjusts. No, he's not, but he's probably feeling his way into the new system, which more closely resembles hockey, versus what the Flyers play. He's always had good speed, it's a key to his PK effectiveness. He looks so slow out there. Was the worst player on the ice for their last two games
I can’t say I ever paid attention to him before. Is he usually a slow player?
