I didn't like the trade at first because I think Minten is a winner, but leafs truly needed a dependable youngish rh D with term. Got to give to get. That guy has an axe to grind with Carlo for some reason. He's excellent and was a perfect pickup for the Leafs.
Every contending team is willing to pay a 1st and a prospect for 3 years of control on a prime player at a prime position at an under market value cap hit.I didn't like the trade at first because I think Minten is a winner, but leafs truly needed a dependable youngish rh D with term. It must bother you that he’s been excellent so far.Oh man, it appears that Leafs fans think Carlo is good LOL
I hate the Leafs and yes Carlo is good.Oh man, it appears that Leafs fans think Carlo is good LOL
Has had a CF% >50 in ONE game out of seven with the Leafs. I've watched and he's the same slow, soft player who you only notice when he makes a terrible turnover. It must bother you that he’s been excellent so far.
We are very happy with his game so far. He’s been a big addition to the backendHas had a CF% >50 in ONE game out of seven with the Leafs. I've watched and he's the same slow, soft player who you only notice when he makes a terrible turnover.
I'll trust the stats over delusional Leaf fans trying to cope about a horrible trade their team made.
CF% isn't a good indicator, the Leafs as a whole are a bad corsi team and focus more on high danger chances.Has had a CF% >50 in ONE game out of seven with the Leafs. I've watched and he's the same slow, soft player who you only notice when he makes a terrible turnover.

4th in the league ?CF% isn't a good indicator, the Leafs as a whole are a bad corsi team and focus more on high danger chances.
Since the TDL, for pairs that have played at least 60 minutes together, Rielly - Carlo are ranked 4th in xGF%, 6th in xGA/60, 2nd in high danger chance% and allow the 2nd fewest high danger chances/60
He has come in and helped form one of the best pairs in the NHL. What might be more impressive is he's turned a Rielly pair into an elite defensive one, especially with all of Mo's struggles this year
A turn for the worse in Toronto? I’m not seeing itWho controls the puck more on his line, Carlo or Reilly? Carlo's giveaways have increased in his last couple years with Boston but they seem to have really taken a turn for the worse in Toronto. He use to be really hard to take the puck away from and seldom gave the puck away.
