Bolsinger is going to AAA. If you get Feldman and keep Jesse, you have to cut a reliever (and no one has options so you lose him for free most likely).

Probably would have traded Morales instead.

IMO, you only remove Morales for a lefty (which I would never pay for one of the top lefties unless they are Miller/Chapman style due to volatility).

The Jays didn't have any pitchers with options left so to add somebody they would have had to DFA somebody and lost them for nothing.




SO they traded Chavez to get a bit of SP depth instead of losing him for nothing.

Bolsinger was solid last year, but pretty bad this year, mostly because aof a pretty major HR/FB ratio. His xFIP is ok, not great but ok.

Some depth after Hutch maybe if we suffer injuries. I'll take that return all day long for Chavez if it's straight up
