Hanifin is pretty good value for what he makes, I think he would be easy to move.

Assuming he us willing to extend at a similar deal to Edmunson/Savard/Demelo etc. Chiarot at 50% this year then 3-4 more at 3.5-4 million could be possible.

For the 1st rounder, we play way above our limits right now.
This won't last forever and i expect to go back to draft in the #9-12 range, which would be already in the ballpark for Provorov.
Faber/Grans are both excellent defense prospects, pick one of them. People seem to be high on Grans right now but i would pick Faber
I don't think Bjornfot + 2nd gets you in many conversations for a young top pairing defender. Maybe Turcotte +2nd.

It's just that i see Hanifin top 4 not top pairing
Suit yourself, he's been pretty solid. With the apparent asking price for Chychrun, equivalent to 3 1st's, realistically Hanifin would probably be 2 1st's. I've never been Hanifin's biggest fan but he's a big, young smooth skating defender and he's been a rock this year.
