I don't understand why everyone's bagging on Boedker. He's been playing fine. Just needs consistent line mates which he hasn't had since Couture and Donskoi where he looked great.

When you average 15 minutes per game with 2 minutes of PP time, having 2 goals and 0 assists to show for doesn't scream to me that he's playing fine.

Has Boedker had something bad on-ice shooting luck? You bet. Should he probably have more than two points this year because of that? Sure. Has his play on the ice been better than two points in 22 games would suggest? Absolutely not.

He was the clear third man out on a line with Tierney and Nieto last night. Those two are clearly better hockey players. That's not good.

Some people in this thread have gone overboard, the Sharks are not trading either one of Vlasic or Braun to add a top 6 forward, that creates a much bigger hole than what we are currently trying to address

The Sharks don't even really have a hole to address. They just need to get healthy and get going. The talent and depth is there.
