Have you ever seen this guy Dylan DeMelo play?

I'd probably be looking for one of your RHD prospects instead of the picks though but is pretty much exactly what you want, no?

 Not a single one of them is worth a 2nd rounder, Let alone 2 2nd rounders.

Probably not

But Myers is 42 in scoring by RHD and 19 in +/-, and 20th OA in minutes played by RHD...............that is pretty much a 2/3, really a 2

But, you go ahead you obviously know how he plays

Holy shit. I hope you're not serious, but I'm afraid you are. This is hilarious.

If Erik Johnson shows he can stay healthy this year and Avs don't re-sign him, might be an option if he's willing to sign in Ottawa. He's always looked good with a young D partner, it's only when paired with his brother Jack that he looks bad.

With Sanderson turning pro at the end of the year we need to get him a veteran partner who can work with him. We need a RHD D-men or someone who can play on the 2nd pair RHD and help ease him in, preferably between 28-34 with 2-3 years left. I’m fine with giving both of our 2nd round picks as a starter and can go from there Our 2nd is basically the same as a late 1st round and we have Tampa’s 2nd which would be around pick 60. Sanderson’s game has been compared to Ryan Suter’s game if that helps.

St Louis Blues looking to move Marco Scandella, early thirties, steady d-man, Blues look to move $$$ // St Louis gave up a 2nd pick in 2020 and a conditional pick in 2021 // would maybe even just take a 3rd now to move the money. I believe he has three years left at avv $ 3.25.

Scandella is a LD and he has term and on a downside to his career is coming…st Louis is tuck with him.

We don’t have our 4th but that being said How has be been?
He’s actually gotten better as the season has moved along. The emergence of Romanov has certainly helped. Still slow though. Could be a good vet, but temper expectations. With that said, I’m really not sure what his value is

Murphy for Kleven and Sogaard. OTT gets a top 3/4D with a cap-friendly deal and CHI gets two quality prospects.

If you don't mind spending a bit more, what about Hronek?

Unless they're paying assets to unload Zaitsev then Ottawa is just going to treat Zaitsev like a middle pair D. He's not top 4 quality, but Melnyk is cheap. The one alternative is if Bernard-Docker or Thomson step it up by then. Young D-men have been known to improve over time.

Chabot - Zub
Sanderson - Zaitsev
Holden/Mete/Brannstrom - JBD/Thomson

I doubt Ottawa will be making any trade acquisitions on the back-end. I think this is it for the foreseeable future, with JBD or Thomson displacing Zaitsev and maybe Kleven joining the team.

Let's all forget he was a top 10 d-men in the league last year and a great top 2 in the years before

That's nice, but has very little to do with $6.25 for this year and 2 more until age 36.
