If they buy him out I'd have MINIMAL interest because there IS talent there but nt not at any serious money
 
0% chance. This is the third team that's looking to dump him. He's been suspended twice for derogatory slurs, twice for abuse of officials and is prone to throwing childish temper tantrums. I'm pretty sure he has a behavioral or personality disorder.

Not to mention adding a guy who has been suspended for racial abuse into a dressing room with Simmonds/Tavares/Matthews/Robertson and in a city where 50+% of the population are visible minorities.

That's a PR and team chemistry nightmare.

Maybe they would but who gives a f*** what Cox and Simmonds think? If he got bought out hell yeah you bring him in cheap he's a talented player he can help.

You'd have to say something pretty remarkable to get punched by a teammate and be immediately waived for it. It just so happens, Tony has made a career of saying pretty remarkable things.

I don’t know why people are so focused on the media who’d (rightfully) call out a potential DeAngelo to Toronto move. Beyond the fact that I can guarantee that the top Leafs brass wants nothing to do with this jackass, the Leafs locker room wouldn’t stand for it either. No way any of Tavares, Rielly, Matthews, Thornton, Simmonds, the whole bunch, would accept DeAngelo on the team.

I mean Christ the guy has been a problem going back to his days in the OHL. You really want to bring the epitome of a locker-room cancer here?

I don't want this racist piece of shit anywhere near this team. He's burned his bridges. He was an idiot in junior, an idiot in the AHL and an idiot in the NHL. It's remarkable he's managed to be a 1st round pick, been through 3 teams and made millions. The guy hasn't learned a thing. He's 25 years old. He's not a kid anymore. Just an asshole that doesnt deserve another chance.

This is the Toronto media we're talking about here, even if they're winning they'd be saying shit. Simmons guarantee would have a an article along with 50 tweets on him. Its just how he is.

I would say it’s a rumour, the sources were not legitimate ones and I’m taking it at face value unless it’s a very reliable source. I also don’t believe anyone would do something like that.
