Buyouts Outside of the Regular Period

Clubs whom have 1 or more arbitration filings may be permitted to perform a buyout outside of the regular window. This gives teams another opportunity to become cap compliant following an arbitration case.

Clubs are permitted to perform a buyout outside the regular period during the 48 hour period beginning on the third day after the final of [CBA 13(c)ii]:
  1. Settlement of the Club's final arbitration case, or
  2. Receipt of the Club's last arbitration award

If he's claimed is it still a 50% salary split off waivers? I wouldn't even care if that was the case since it's better than wasting a retention slot to get him to 50% and the return being a future ECHL bottom 6.

Well he is the player I wanted gone the most but good ole Tort's like's bashing players and absolutely tanking any trade value they might of had so this is what we get .

Just gonna wait for Dead to come on here and say Tort's is great it's not his fault and it's all on the player blah blah blah .
