Yeah, I admire the dedication if anybody can do that. It probably all connects back to what's going on in your life anyway. But I can definitely drop the Preds if it gets too bad. That's me, it's not many others here. So kudos to those of you who will ride it out regardless.
I don't even think things looked this bleak during the '07 firesale.

Honestly, if I'm a young player/his agent right now in the Preds ORG, I'm going to be as proactive as possible. Not wait until my player gets dragged through the mud. Ask out ASAP.
I have expressed some anger at Askarov's approach around here. It's a little different since he's a goalie? But maybe not? Maybe he was really smart after all. Get out if you can. Kudos to anybody who can read the tea leaves a little more pragmatically than those of us wearing the rose-tinted glasses.

I'm giving him until next season, he's a newer gm, as long as he doesn't do anything stupider. I can MAYBE see the reasoning for getting rid of Poile's draft picks, even though it's inexcusable to throw them away for nothing. If this is his version of tanking so be it. But we can not eff up this deadline and draft.
