I've been watching the Preds now since 2014, and this is the closest I've ever been to completely checking out of a season. Not just that we're bad (obviously never saw the Preds when they missed the playoffs multiple years in a row), but it just feels like the people steering the ship have absolutely 0 idea of what is happening or what to do

And even when a team is bad, at least you can follow the prospects/young guys and see how they develop. I guess we can hope for a lot of career years for 30+ players.

Same, except I've been following since '00. I'm still holding out faith that Trotz has some semblance of a plan, but I'm pretty furious with a lot of his moves.

Evangelista has seen a reduction in ice time, scoring, and his takeaways have plummeted.

Same can be said for Novak.

Parssinen just doesnt deserve ice time. He was replaced by Svechkov who was only worthy of 5 mins of ice time.

These players are all likely on the outs.

It's pretty simple, Trotz is jealous of all the negative reaction Titans fans have of Ran Carthon and has decided he can also make questionable decisions on his teams makeup. Seriously however, perhaps the Predators need to take a hard look at their scouting and evaluation staff. Of course that is the responsibility of Trotz himself. A complete overhaul of the front office and management personnel may be in order. I see a lot of quotes about the "country club" relating to players, but perhaps the "country club" atmosphere is more aptly descriptive of management up and down the organization.

I’ve been a fan since the first ever puck drop back in 1998 against the panthers and this is by far the most ridiculous GM’in I have witnessed in those 26 years.

Right now I’m feeling like that person that dated someone with issues for many years hoping they could achieve all they are capable of from what I seen in them and now they just cheated on me and I don’t know what to do with my life (sports wise)

Bring back poile, at least if he made a bone head move he made up for it by fleecing someone.

Trotz since he’s become gm:

- Tied up a bunch of old guys long term to big contracts who are all underachieving.

- totally botched the goalie situation by resigning a declining (since last season!!) almost 30 year old goalie to 8 year insanity deal and in the meantime lost our top prospect to the sharks for cents on the dollar.

- let Fabbro walk for free

- traded Tomasino for a “”4th”” in “”2027””

Can’t wait to see what this clown has up his sleeves next. Dude couldn’t gm his way out of a wet paper bag.

All the other posts here are spot on.

At the end of the day... I'm happy for Tomasino. I actually legitmately feel sad for him that he got drafted by our organization. I mean, I REALLY feel that way. That's not a way you want to feel related to your team. It sucks for EVERYBODY. :(
Yes, I especially feel for Fabbro whose sister went to school here and who liked it here. We're gonna drive everyone except retirees away.

I might even be down to "The Last Straw"? Go ahead and get rid of Parssinen or Evangelista... I might not even stick around? I'm not a Day One fan like many on here. If management is THAT bad, I CAN bail. I didn't sell my soul. I can spend my entertainment $$$ with less frustration. If that's the way things are really going to go. :dunno:

I feel bad for him still because he got sent to Pittsburgh who has a coach basically just like the ones he has had. I think his only hope is if they fire the coach at the end of the season.
