It wasn't really a dumb signing at the time. Is he overpaid? Yes. He was coming off a 50 point season and he wasn't nearly as bad as he has been this year. His NMC becomes a limited NTC after this season so there is a chance he could be traded. Nothing would make me happier.

Absolutely needed this win so then weren’t stewing on a loss for 2 weeks. Quick needs to start coming out of the break. Rangers might have something with Cuylle-Brodzinski-Kakko. Mackey and Jones actually can get the puck in net from the blue line. The NMC bums have saved themselves for the time being but I’d be looking to move Miller for a center. Another brutal turnover leading to a goal. Nightly occurrence.

It’s very funny how much better they look when A. They get competent goaltending and B. They play with a little emotion. Happy to see Wheelchair and Kakko heat up before the break. Our top 9 is much better if they are producing. Mackey/Jones move the puck and are more physical than miller. Why shouldn’t they get more of a chance with how bad the D has been?

They love Trouba, because he’s there heart and soul and a heck of a player. He’s the last guy they’re moving in the summer but keep pretending that’s gonna happen.
