Might honestly contend with EK as most skilled senator down the line.

EK started turning heads as 21 year old.

Stutzle just about to finish up his 20 year old season.
What a player EK could of been had that injury never happened. Is he playing that well this year ? or just filling up the score sheets ? good for him regardless, top 5 in league scoring as a D for all players can't be ignored.

To me Stutzle seems to be more easy going then EK ever was. Its nothing again EK; simply an observation but there were times where I felt EK let his frustrations show more then he should have. ATM Stutzle is beaming with confidence and his production reflects that...I hope he can keep it up as its fun to watch ...scary to think he is still improving ...

team is on a bit of heater and he's producing... of course he's beaming...

Look at games from earlier in the season when we were on that big loss streak, he was plenty frustrated... Stutzle is a guy who really wears his heart on his sleeve, he's passionate, and it shows... both in wins and losses.

In between periods they said he had like 1 goal in the first 10 or so games ? is that true ?

the heat is on for sure...but thats also in large part due to them playing to expectations...that bad "November" was a blessing in disguise

1 in 9... he had 3 in 10 though.

He had a 6 game goalless drought in his first 10, and another 5 game goalless drought from December 6th until he scored on the 27th.

edit: also, you didn't say this, but he also isn't on a goal streak, he has 5 goals in his last 5, but he didn't score vs DET, and scored 2 vs BUF.

Yes. He will be considered a top 5 player in the game in his peak.
One can hope ... the skill is there for sure... now it will come down to his willingness and commitment to put in the work to keep improving to hopefully achieve that....

we should all pray once a week collectively to the Hockey "Stay Healthy" Gods; to keep him going without problems.....

Remember that NY rangers fan asking for picks 3 and 5 for pick 1? Good times lol
easy to say "told you so" now when Tim is hot and Alex is struggling... tbh I never understood the hype around Alex but he was gonna go 1st overall no matter what team had the first pick. I think a lot of scouts considered Tim as the most skilled but somewhat still raw to be tken 1-2......

AL is still young (21), he looks 40 because of his facialhair chin strap... I think he was just misused by the Rangers ...and not really drafted for necessity but more so to not pass up on a franchise player

that is not what a 21 year old generally looks like...he looks like a player on the back end of a 12 year deal and a couple deep playoff runs under the belt

As long as he's a great #1 center for us, doesnt matter where these 'rankings' have him. They're only created to make fans argue anyways.

He's great. Who cares if he's top 5, or top 10 or 15 loll
