Anyone know how long tickets are on Ticketmaster before they get eaten up and/or resold on StubHub? I'd like to plan on going to a game earlier than when I usually do.

The Rangers use dynamic pricing on ticketmaster. That basically means there is no price difference between TM and SH. What you want to do is buy from season ticket holders, you won't have any problem finding dependable sellers on this site

Attempting to be a first year STH, just got off the phone with my rep- only pair available in the upper bowl was 1st row gallery in 207. I passed.

I'm getting annoyed with my situation now... I did not renew (but still was STH last year so have some tenure), was told to log in today 10AM. Guess should have just kept calling the rep (not that I wanted those gallery seats either).

Do you forfeit your tenure when you do not renew?

Yep. I wanted to downgrade but since they can not guarantee it, they told me not to renew and try my luck in July

Tell them it's ridiculous that other people were able to downgrade but you didn't push for that during the regular relocation process. Instead you followed their instructions and it's unfair that you are getting shut out as a previous season subscriber.

Also, ask to speak with a manager. Most of the reps will just regurgitate the company line...or they'll say they need to speak with their supervisor. Just cut out the middle man and deal directly with someone who can resolve the issue to your satisfaction.

The whole process is disgusting. You were a season subscriber...who the hell do they think they are telling you how much you have to spend on tickets?

It's ******** that they don't let you downgrade. Perhaps the reason I got a call before you is that you go behind any type of "current" subscriber (half season, mini plan) if you don't renew, but still stay before the general public?

"Yea, Yea. Get these two tickets from section 112 and you'll be able to downgrade no problem next year"

-our rep last year

The only pair in upper bowl is sec 208 row 1 $135 each. I guess we're not season subs anymore.

Well, if the TO has not opened the pool to new sales yet, how is it that there are no tickets to be had in the upper bowl?

Are we saying that existing subscribers have purchased the seats that were not renewed?

Are we saying that people have been able to downgrade from the lower bowl to the upper bowl already?

Cheers!

Do not know. As of now, there are only 7 singles available in the upper bowl. No pairs.

Oh well, more money to spend elsewhere.

Is section 112 really that bad?

So by the look of things there isn't much available? I'm a Newby trying to be a first time sth and was told by my rep to contact next week.. What are my odds of landing some in upper bowl?

Just got off the phone with my rep. The only thing available in the upper bowl was:

section 210 row 14 seat 3
section 223 row 14 seat 18
section 207 row 2 seat 5

I just grabbed section 207 row 2 seat 5

Wow thanks.. I guess I'm out.. I was told its hard, something like 90% return.. Is there a way to go on a list somehow kinda like football season tickets?

Best bet is to do a half season or mini plan. You'll have a rep who can then take your deposit for the following year. You'll get to bypass the general public, but still have to wait for STH to do the upgrade and add a seat option. Crappy part is that the rate per ticket is a little higher for 1/2s and minis.

Part of the problem too is there's a 6 ticket per account limit. The Knicks have a 4 ticket per account limit. If they were smart they would have put in a 4-ticket limit for upper bowl seats and then let people buy as many lower bowl as they want since those are harder to move anyways

Thanks.. that's what I was thinking you would have to do to work your way up

They change the max tickets per account limit from year to year. Right now it's at 6, but it's been higher and lower in previous years. And they don't make subscribers give up seats when the current maximum is lower than what they already have. Personally, I think 6 is a fair number.
