Even know I still have my share partner half seasons I am in the same boat. I’d rather spend it on expensive motorcycles and insuring the bloody things. MPI Motorcycle insurance continues to be very pricy even with good driver records.Of course I'd rather have a team than no team at all. I'd also love to be in the financial position to support the team more. That being said, the product isn't good enough for me to be higher in my hobby list. I'd rather pay for golf/other hobbies than go to a Jets game right now. If I thought the team was a realistic contender I'd be more likely to pay to go to games.
If I had endless money I'd for sure go to more games though.

I’ve heard more from Jets ST rep(s) in the last 12 months than I have in the previous 12 years I’ve had seasons. They’re asking mostly the right questions: what can we do better (a lot), do you have a hard time moving unused tickets (yup), and on and on. No sleazy attempts at upselling to higher priced seats, which was the only reason any reps bothered to reach out to me in previous seasons.
Problem is they should have been doing this a long time ago, and treating those 13K holders and 8K waitlist members like a precious commodity.
Going to be an interesting look Friday if it isn't sold out, given the Bomber game will be.
I don't think the NHL cares at all if any of their games are clashing with a CFL game. That's has to be way down the list of priorities when making the NHL schedule.I'm going out on a limb here, but maybe scheduling directly against a Bomber home game isn't the greatest idea...

Which is hilarious because when the Jets arrived it was the other way around.I'm going out on a limb here, but maybe scheduling directly against a Bomber home game isn't the greatest idea...
True. But the NHL works with the clubs in determining the schedule. So if there’s (for example) a scheduled concert at CLC, they won’t schedule a Jets home game that same day.I don't think the NHL cares at all if any of their games are clashing with a CFL game. Seems to me that TNSE could have easily told the NHL they didn’t want a Jets home game conflicting with a Bombers home game. Or more accurately, x’d out their availability on those dates.
It looks foolish and a bit arrogant on their end, as they’ll be missing out on numerous potential ticket buyers by virtue of the home opener clashing with the Bombers game.

Likely 2 games. If Bombers clinch the West - which appears likely at this point - they’ll be hosting the West Final at the exact same time as Jets-Stars on November 9th. Hopefully Jets can lobby the NHL for an earlier start time? There is ~700 tickets available 5 days before the event. I think the "fools" will be okay. They have 1 game the same as Bombers - WPG and TNSE will survive. The Jets hit the lotto with this schedule. Think there is 17ish weekend games this year (not even including Sundays). Opening the season with a Friday (Bedard) night game, then a Sunday (Biggest rivals) evening game going into a holiday Monday is 10 out 10 start to the season.

I don’t disagree with you, it’s a very fan friendly schedule outside of those two games.
@tbcwpg to your point, that’s for the NHL schedule maker (or AI application) to figure out. If Bruce Springsteen was scheduled at CLC on October 11th, they would need to schedule around it. It seems like it would be a good business decision for TNSE to treat a home Bombers game the same way, especially when trying to maximize ticket revenue.
Anyway, hopefully it’s sold out at the home opener. I’ll be there, can’t wait!
No doubt there have been issues. I guess I've been one of the lucky ones, because I will give all my reps over the years a solid 9 out of 10 with the past few years being the best for response, resolution and accommodation.I was a ST holder since day one, We moved out of town and let our friends who had the two tix beside manage all four. Just before covid they had the chance to redo the contracts. They told the rep they would put two on hold (was an option then) and renew the other set. The rep accidentally cancelled both pairs. numerous calls and messages left and never a return call.
Now 4 years later we are in a different situation and would consider ST again as long as the reps could convince us things are different/better. It would probably be as easy as a call from a rep to discuss.
