I'm getting kind of weirded out by ''Pen pals'' that send me texts at 2:48 in the morning saying ''Hey'' and then send one or two word responses when I reply back. And then wait 8 or 9 hours to message me back, just to say ''WYD?'', ''Noice noice'', ''Ohhhh Cool'', ''Very nice'' or ''Hiiiii''.

Just go away and leave me alone.

Like the Chinese food that's served in America is much less traditional and much more unhealthier than the food those in China eat. I don't think they're much on General Tso's Chicken or egg rolls or sweet and sour chicken or the other fried stuff.

One other example is the tradition of corned beef and cabbage at St. Patty's Day. It's apparently not a meal or thing in Ireland.

So went to Kansas City. Got myself a good load of real America. Bought myself the most obnoxious belt buckle i could find and a cowboy hat. Added a "Dont tread on me" sign to the batch too :laugh: i think i fell in love with the mid-west. A wonderful place.

Indian food is like this too. Half the stuff you would get in a restaurant was invented in London or New York, including tikka masala and tandoori.

India also has regional subcuisines, but you wouldn't know it from restaurants, which usually serve the spicy, creamy, curry-heavy style from North India. South India has very different flavors, with coconut and sour being more important, and breakfast foods like idli and dosa being more common. But you have to specifically look for restaurants that serve that style.

I refuse to give them any money because of how they bombard everyone with ads. I just put in a bunch of ad blockers and HF can f*** off with how they setup this site to be so ridiculously intrusive. They don't deserve to be supported with money with how they present the website.

Agree. Just dont know how to do that efficiently on android and rather pay HF than some weird ad blocking app.

So rate how American I am right now on a scale of 0-5:
- Stomach full of turkey, stuffing and pecan pie
- Wearing my "Come and Take it" belt buckle (see quoted msg for pic), Levis jeans and Uncle Sam tie
- Drinking beer (Yuengling) and watching Vikings vs Patriots on TV

First - I hope everyone who celebrates had a happy Thanksgiving and enjoyed whatever manner of observance they chose.

Second - You should complete the stereotype with some chewing tobacco and a spit cup.

I'm going on 7 years without a single cigarette. I would have never been able to do it without snus.

I love it. General original portions mostly. It's very discreet people usually never know that I have one in my mouth.

Yeah, a lot of people got off cigs with snus. Now get off the snus, itll destroy your gums. :)
