I didn’t like that EP as much as a kid, because I thought it sounded too polished and too “Mature” and not as hard. I would have rather have listened to the previous albums.

Now I find that I really appreciate this EP so much more in my elder years.

My killer Whoodle …Pretty sure they are illegal to own and breed in most provinces here due to their killer instincts and ability to kill in an instant on command ……I found him for sale on the black market and smuggled him into the country.

may I present Conundrum (the golden) and Shapka (the ???).

Conundrum (my dog) is one year old and 90lbs and sweetheart. Dumb as rocks, super cuddly, never barks, his only flaw is he’s too friendly and would definitely walk off with a stranger if they were even sort of nice to him. He’s a good boy.

Shapka (my wife’s dog) is 8, 30 pounds, descended from about 8 different dog breeds, a rescue, and the littlest asshole on the planet. Barks at anything outside. Will literally only let my blood relatives watch him while we’re out of town. He is also a good boy.

This is my idiot son, Donut, in various stages of hair growth. He is named Donut because I was starving at work one day when my girlfriend texted me and asked what we should name our upcoming adoption - I was hyperfixated on getting a big chocolate frosted donut from the coffee cart outside. He is 100% shihtzu. He is a rescue. He was found living in a dumpster on a beach in Puerto Rico. We believe he was dumped there by an unscrupulous breeder because his back legs are deformed - they splay out to the sides and work more like a seal's flippers than actual legs. His walk is hilarious. Anyone's guess how old he is, but we're in the 5-8 years old range. He weighs ten pounds. He is completely indifferent to other dogs but tends to like ones that are 4 or 5 times his size. He's also indifferent to humans except that when he sees a stroller he perks up because one time a baby in a stroller threw him some Cheerios and he's been chasing that high ever since. He'll eat anything; celery, however, he just chews up and then spits back out. The rescue agency told us that at the doggie halfway-house they had to feed him separately because he'd eat his own food and then eat other dogs' food. He has a dog bed in every room except the bathroom, so naturally his favorite place to lay is the bathmat. He barks at himself in the mirror. He's an absolute mess and I love him uncontrollably.

She’s almost 5 years old in either November or December. Chihuahua/terrier mix. She’s the most precious thing to me, but she barks a lot and isn’t the most friendly with strangers. Especially men. I’ve had her for 4 years this month. She seems to warm up to women more than men, but she never did warm up at all to the ex-girlfriend (for great reason, she knows a deceitful person when she sees one), but she did eventually like her son after a while. She will bark at people that come by that she’s known ever since I’ve had her. And one of my constant lines I say over and over again is “Not many people like this type of dog!” Haha.

She’s very needy too. And she’s terribly spoiled!

As they should be! :)

I was watching a bit of thr Foo Fighters Taylor Hawkins tribute show. This little segment reminded me how much I missed not seeing Queen. There is a segment with Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson. That was heartwarming if sad as well. Paul played and sounded awful on Oh Darling but was ok on Helter Skelter. He was very good all things considered at Glastonbury just a couple of months ago so it’s a shame he was so flat. Oh and Wolfgang Van Halen is a heck of a guitarist and should consider getting the band back together with Uncle Alex.

So it’s been forever since I paid attention to them and they were my first teeny bopper rock band when I was about 10 or so but there is a great Kiss documentary on Hulu. Really fascinating story. Highly recommended if you have any interest in the group or just as a document of rock history.

i do a very johnny cash style of "strutter" when i've had a few on 'the old war horse' (my 50 year old acoustic guitar)... its funny because no one ever recognizes it as a kiss song

first song ...off the first album
