Thoughts on Troy Terry

He is not even the best player on his team and the common fan seeing him on the cover will think he’s a superstar when he’s not.

I never even said best player in the league, I said 1C… so you seem incapable of reading.

Also there are plenty of better players to market like Hughes in New Jersey
They likely were saving hughes for when Luke comes up and they can do a hughes brother cover.

You seem way too worried about a video game cover

He's a guy who thrives with confidence. I could definitely see him having a season or two where he scares 45+ goals 90+ points.
Just interested to see how Terry and zegras play with a new coach , new system and capable players around them.

Hell over the next couple years we’ll be adding a lot of Mobile, passing and shooting dmen to the back end…. That alone is going to help zegras and terry get the puck in transition and allow them to use their talents to create.

Been really awful couple of seasons…. But terry and zegras have at least given us some sort of hope…. I think a lot of people are going to be shocked how good terry and zegras actually are.

Classic case of bad team scorer. On say Toronto this guy would be on the 3rd line, behind both Marner and Nylander, and on most other top teams he would be a 2nd liner. Everyone who's ever played team sports knows the more you play the more you score, simply based on opportunity, and vice versa. Look at Toronto last playoffs where Nylander was arguably their most dynamic player offensively speaking but was still taken off the 1st PP unit due to Marner and other players with inflated veteran clout and different roles (Tavares/O'Reilly).

:help:

A heal
Its funny that terry and zegras had similar seasons the last 2 years... but weve had like 20 zegras is overated threads, and 5 terry is underrated threads

But back to terry... pretty fun player to watch... does basically everything pretty well.

for people that dont get to watch him that much, very slick player

A healthy Lane McDonald clone.

Lol, that's pathetic analysis on where he stands league wide. He is clearly a top 6 NHL F. Just because Marner, Matthews, Tavares and Nylander are more talented in no way makes him a 3rd line guy. Even on Toronto he is a top 6 player. Wake up pal.
