Knowing that he has only gone 9-19 on faceoffs in his six-year career as a winger, I am actually not so sure about this guy.

If he continues taking one every ten games, this could eventually add up to mean he loses like 60 faceoffs before his career is over. Something to think about.

He’d probably be closer to a PPG player on a good team, same as Zegras.

I wonder about that, especially if we talk about both players.

Since both Zegras and Terry often play together on the same line, it really is the defense that would need to be better behind them. Otherwise, on a "better team", they'd still be a similar offensive line (XXX- Zegras - Terry).

And if they were on a better team, perhaps they would be on the second line, would they then produce more than being first liners? It's possible as they would face lesser competition, but not a given.

Anyway. Terry's fantastic, and if we weren't terrible last year I think he absolutely could have paced for 80 points. The switch flipped a couple of years ago and it's night and day.

He's become so much more confident with the puck over the past two years. All of a sudden, he started challenging—and often beating—defensemen 1-on-1.

He is the “cover boy” because he is marketable and he is the player that average fans see on sportscenter and Twitter. No one who regularly watches the NHL, and I mean no one, thinks that Zegras is one of the best players in the league. Stop acting like he is being hyped that way.

Actually, would love to see what Terry can do when the Ducks are competitive, have depth, a better PP, and better system and coaching.

Once the Ducks have a better PP, he might not be on it as much.
