Wheeler has no luck, and not much finish. Wish we could get someone else with him on those rushes to clean it up.

Thanks for the table knorthern knight! I use that PMGP formula as well, although I refer to it by another name, "games above/below .500". ;) That's really all it is.

Claude's mention that we'd need to win 2 out of 3 for the rest of the season is pretty accurate as well. That would give the Jets 57 points, which should be more than enough for a playoff spot.

Great breakdown Lynk, my thoughts exactly.

EDIT: Ok, one bone to pick. I do think Kane's penalty at the end was his fault, you have to be in control of your stick. I know Brogosian mentioned that Brennan had his head down, fair enough, but his stick was still shoulder level. Overall though, I loved Kane's game today, really used his speed effectively.

Yeah I was on the fence when I saw it. His stick looked a little out of control, but I also saw Brennan's head..

Tough one overall, had they scored on that I might have had a different opinion.

Rick has emerged as a new favourite for the Insane Jets Caller page.

Rick Ralph: ...so you've kinda lost me there when you're talking about lack of offense.

Rick Disgruntled Caller: Listen man...all I'm saying...this is our city...our team...

Yea I heard that... it cracked me up too.

About this game, I am not too high on the win but whether we win by one goal or by five on a night like tonight the reason I'm stoked is because the team played with a lot of heart tonight. Although not eveyone was on fiire, a lot were, and those that weren't a threat to score, at least they weren't causing bad plays.

In the end that's ALL I wanted from this team... a REALLY good effort. We definitely got it tonight. This is the team I know can make playoffs.

Clitsome almost manages to blow the game. Was around one minute left, Buff cross ice passes to him in our own end and can't handle the puck.

OMFG...SWEET KICKS!!!

Givin' out some sweet kicks myself for that win.

Wheels....man o man...there's the boy we were missing. When he turns on beast mode, he really does look like he is skating and moving like he is playing in a league above.
When he first wound up I cracked an Antro from ear to ear and thought...here we go.

Gonna have to put some fur around that net for Kaner though...rough luck.

Pavs looked sharp tonight too; I have stopped flinching the last couple games...though I still get that fear when they get close to him with a wiffler. It is going to take some time to win back that trust.

I remember that exact play. Buff did the textbook thing, looked off the forechecker and made a quick D-to-D. Clitsome was probably surprised that anyone would have confidence in his ability to get the puck out, hence the fumble.

Ugh. We need Enstrom back ASAP.

Yeah was nice play by Buff, Clitsome was really his only option, and messed it up. Pretty sure Buffalo came in and put pressure on after that.

I really think Clitsome should go. Waivers,Trade,AHL, Aliens, Pirates. anywhere but this team.

Ladd Little Wheeler looked great. Wheels has looked better and better over the last three games. if he can get going... Little... wow.

I still think welly is great along the boards. He almost always comes out with the puck, or passes it to the crease.People complain about him but he's great at keeping the puck in the offensive zone and eating up the clock. I think he would do well with Tangreti.

Kane....DOH!. Another good yet ultimatley frustratingly poor night. I still don't like his puck choices. to often it is an easy clear.

Bogo is Primo. Lock him up. 8 years. can you imagine if Trouba can maintain his WJC level in the pros with Bogo as a seasoned mentor/partner? And Buff! And Enstrom!!!

this season is not over. I could be at the drop of a pin, but right now, this season is still "GAME ON"

Well im Sold on Tangratti

If he keeps this level of play up I think we got a steal here. I get why he didnt fit with malkin or crosby cause he is just a pure banger and not really a finesse guy

That was an intense game. A lot of excitement in my household! Solid effort, great to see the offense get a very quick goal off the bat.

Ooo boy. The Jets website is going a bit crazy with the Pavelec puns.

"Dr. Ondrej"

"I'll Pav Another"

"Pav Some Fun"

Lynk, is this your side gig? :sarcasm:

LLW looked great tonight, except that they didn't hit the net. Zach also looked great, looks he's becoming a true #1.

Is it really a surprise that Pavs doesn't improve over the seasons btw? With this accuracy, I doubt he gets more than like 3 saves every practice.

Nobody's mentioned Buff's big hit where he just about took the Sabre and whole end of the rink out, surprisingly the guy shook it off and skated away.
