That's 19 years ago, a lot of people here were either kids and didn't know what the f*** they were watching so they don't have an appreciation of that or they missed that entirely. Even if you weren't a kid, that's a long time ago, the memory dulls.

That I get ... there hasn't been a great goalie here in so long, most people don't even know what that would look like. They think this dog shit is some how pretty good. The media too.

Most of the f***ing stat line has shown this team is good in all areas EXCEPT goaltending. Improve the net with a 1B like Gibson or Vejmelka. Send Dustin useless Schwartz to the moon while they’re at it. I’ve had enough watching the team play, dominate, and lose due to having the second best goalie on a basis. Two losses to teams we should’ve won if not for sieve Skinner. Making it extra harder to jump further ahead of VGK in the standings for 1st in the division with this clown in net.

Also hilarious how the moronic media here say nothing about him. Only if he was a European goalie named Stuko Skinninen would they then proceed to make any criticism. Trade for a 1B already. Here’s the thing though do you know rare it is for McDavid to 2 consecutive games pointless? The only time it happened was games 6 and 7 of the Stanley cup final. I just can’t really make any other excuses for why he doesn’t have a cup. A cup was right there all he had to do was reach out and take it and he responded with his first two consecutive pointless games.

Skinner on the other hand let in 3 total goals between games 6 and 7 of the Stanley cup final but we can’t win with him. Not possible.

If they replayed that game 7 again today they would probably lose again. Bob would be the difference again. They have better multi-line depth as well so their odds of hitting a jackpot on Skinner and getting him to crack first are better, with our squad lets face it, the Skinner/Arvidsson adds haven't moved the needle at all.

Bob is a weird guy, he slacks for periods clearly, but in big games he goes from crap to Hasek tier at the snap of a finger.

That's just where having a high talent roof is such a big asset for a goalie, they can go from shit to out of this world very quick. Skinner is the opposite, very low talent roof.
