As Simpson said, this series is a huge statement by the Leafs.
Offensively, defensively, goaltending, coaching, Leafs completely crushed the Oilers.

During the first game, someone said the Oilers should be afraid of the Leafs. My reaction was that the entire LEAGUE should be afraid of the Leafs; this is not the same team as previous years. "Weak" division or not, the Leafs aren't winning by trying to out-skill their opponents. They're winning by beating opponents in all facets of the game. It looks like the whole team has taken it to a whole new level...

Now we just need an edited video of the fight between Saitama and Boros in One Punch man, with the Leaf symbol on Saitama and the Oilers symbol on Boros. Oilers throwing everything they had, and the Leafs just look bored.

Gotta say, I was not expecting anything close to this at the start of the series. Defensive shutdown, secondary scoring, some guys breaking slumps. Really impressive.

Only thing I'd like to see improve is those zone exits. Always seems to be some 5-10 minute phases where they have trouble making simple plays to get it out.

Excellent defensively, won a ton of draws, led the team on 2 of 3 nights in xGF.

Hes getting tagged a lot lately.
