Not sure when the last shift the top line took was but they didn't play for the last 10 or so minutes of the game. What a luxury with the back to back games.

This 4th line is really gelling. Pleasantly surprised by Boyd.

Having just read this entire thread, some great posts here. We were dominant.

I'm not yet sold, but I'm reaching for my wallet, on the fact that we may have a shut-down line in Mikky/Engvall/Hyman. They were great. Give them a few more games and I'm buying. Would be a big, huge find for the team.

Sucks that the triple shutout was broken. Love that Hyman scored on Smith. Payback for his dirty shot.

Gotta give some love to Vesey. He's taken a lot of heat, but he did good tonight. Also good to see Tavares score, and Willy's been on fire.

Also, Brodie is awesome. What a signing he was.

We had to let them score one, as proof they showed up.

Maybe this is a stretch, but the Leafs didn't fall into the trap game, they put their boots on their opponents necks and didn't let up. They didn't play to the level of their competition, they didn't let the door open up. That feels very different than where we have been, and hopefully it's a good omen for when games start to really matter.

We got an incredible 6 goals.
The Oils too scored the most of the series in this game - they scored a whole goal.
