McDavid is one of the best players in NHL history at a young age, and Leafs made him look like 4th liner. What a series.

McDavid was absolutely shut down tonight.

Draisaitl is good, but whoever said he can play both sides of the ice is absolutely full of crap.

That team reminds me of the Kessel era where everyone was too soft to actually backcheck and play proper hockey.

We are an elite team, arguing otherwise is an absolute failure of logic. This team has good goaltending, amazing offensive depth and a vastly improved defense.

There is no greater failure than the performance the Edmonton Oilers out on display this series.

He literally manufactured an issue by diving last game then is doubling down on it this game as if it had some merit or payback was due. That's just crazy behaviour.

Not a bad effort I guess, went to the home rink of what was the 2nd best team in the division who were on a massive heater and kicked the ever loving **** out of them

Our forwards also arent cheating nearly as much and are actually giving appropriate support when breaking out of the zone.

This teams backpressure and puck support has drastically improved this season.

By my eye, John Tavares played some of his best hockey in 18 months over these last 3 games.

Excellent defensively, won a ton of draws, led the team on 2 of 3 nights in xGF.

Cool seeing the usual suspects play good games but how about the unsung guys? Bogo was quiet but I think they're still trying to peel the Oiler he glued to the end boards, Vesey played just well enough to justify not being scratched again, the HEM line actually were rewarded for their determined play. Good stuff.
