Jets talent is diverse and more up and down the lineup. They are hands down a top 2 team with us in the division.
As good as our defense is, stopping all their lines is a real challenge and that alone should make them a worthy opponent.

Keefe is an absolute savant when it comes to hockey, however. He will know their team inside out by the time we play them. I'm not worried.

Jets scare me more than anyone. Two very good top lines, a strong shut down guy, and the top goalie in the North. We need to exploit their defence, but they have firepower.

That team has the potential to cause teams trouble and they are well coached. Then there is the Dubois reminder from last year.

Truth be told though, our improvements overall, especially in the backend, combined with a team commitment, should finally be the difference maker against such builds.

I fully expect additions by the deadline. Hopefully a gamer or two who are in the "playoff mold". The depth alone may be necessary.

Same look he had when Edmonton won the lottery.

He's thinking "if that last f*****g ball had dropped another way, I would've been wearing white tonight".

If he was a Leaf, he might have had the same look after being kept off the scoreboard for 3 straight games by the Edmonton Oilers. ;)

What's also concerning is that we'll have to play them on the sh*** ice. You know, in Toronto.

Their D is terrible.
Why is the jets D terrible? Like yes every team in the North was said to have bad D-cores, but the jets D-core is better than Ottawa, Edmonton, Vancouver. Is Price the reason Montreal is bleeding goals, or is it perhaps that Montreals D isn't very good. And you could probably make a case that the Jets D-core is better than the Flames.

Interesting to read the other teams boards, Canucks, Jets... around the league threads...

Let's not kick a team and fanbase when they are down. As Leafs fans, we know what that felt like when this team was in a bad place. Stay classy.
I'm not going to go to their board and start crap. But, I def don't feel bad for them. I mean, read the poll of their GDT. Constant complaints about "Eastern Bias" etc.

Absolutely proud of our boys. We need to clamp down hard against the Jets.

I have no beef with the oilers but by god, do I want us to crush the Jet in this series.
