they love the hell out of Scotty...but a guy with skill they are willing/have traded
They'll get rid of him, regret it, and bring him back three days later. This may just mean his bosses plan on killing him, though.
Not sure how that’s supposed to portend an imminent trade. Am I missing something?
Hmmm…
It might actually be happening, people.
He recreated the last supper. It’s pretty telling.I mean, I get it. The insiders are running with it so obviously they think it’s as close as it’s ever been. But my first instinct wasn’t that he was about to be traded, it’s that he simply made social media content.
Consistent third line production is actually a pretty good outcome for a back-half first round pick.Mediocre is being kind. For being the 20th OA pick in the 2012 draft, I would have wanted more than 658 GP/ 106/159/265/-40. Not a bust but a guy who has not lived up to first round expectations.

Now, you could argue that Laughton wasn't exactly a swing for the fences, even at the time, which is fair. But that was a pretty poor draft (though it wound up producing a few good dmen and goalies).
A few of the training staff as well, isn't that bald guy Tommy Alva?Definitely EJ. Possibly Konecny.
Everyone else? Can’t really tell.
Funny thing is the Flyers actually made out pretty well that year. Laughton, Stolarz, and Ghost is a pretty good haul in a vacuum for one draft, especially considering that was the last season I'd consider the Flyers to have been legitimately competitive. Of course, in true Flyers fashion, they completely bungled the last two...Yeh, crazy as it sounds...
Mike Matheson: #23
Brady Skjei: #28
Jake McCabe: #44
Damon Severson: #60
are the only players taken between pick #21-60 who have had a better career.
Which shows why if you don't at least have some high draft picks from time to time... well... good luck getting star players.
