Rumor: Things Not Left Unsaid 6: Flyers Rumors and Mentions - Brick By Boring Brick

  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.
Can anyone guess this former Flyer?

Yes! Man you guys are quick!

The whole jersey number discussion had me look him up because I was convinced he wore #44 here. Not only did he NOT, he never wore #44. Must be thinking of someone else.

I think Foerster is the best Forward on NHL ice currently in the org. He might be passed by Michkov or Martone, but they're not there yet.

My brain started wandering to the Covid World Juniors when Foerster was on a line with McTavish (and Stankoven, ironically a better center too), and I was gushing over his work as the 3F in the NZ. McTavish had to use Foerster as a crutch even then because he was so bad defensively. Seems relevant before acquiring our future 1C.

I've been pretty on target about Foerster on everything but his passing. I still think he's a better passer than the NHL sample shows, and it might just click randomly. Give me a season without Cates and a shoulder injury.

Yup, would love to see:
Foerster-a talented, creative center-Michkov
