Agreed on Risto. He used to suck now he’s just subpar.

No joke Brad Shaw deserves a ton of credit. Wish he would get through to Jamie.
Just my amateur opinion, but I don't think you can teach IQ, and that's what he needs. Shaw could be lucky to turn him into Coburn?? Maybe? Point is, Drysdale needs to be an offensive threat to be worthwhile and he seems like the opposite of that.

You can live with his spotty judgement in the dzone if he was putting up 45 points.

Besides an initial pass out of the zone and some horizontal passing, nothing is ever threatening!!

Buffalo getting painted into a corner and going to need to make a move for veteran top 6 help. Rumors are they are listening on their young d, Byrams name popping up mostly. Too bad we just resigned our only veteran forward worth anything. Would’ve been nice to try to play hard ball and add to TK in an attempt to get Power.

Nevermind, just woke up from a nap, I read this as defense, not offense

They're not trading Power. And Byram is basically Drysdale, a high pick who's a disappointment.

A name to think about is Cozens, they might want to move McLeod up to 2C, so a package might land him, Frost, Laughton and a 2nd?

Flyers are going to be more cautious than the reports are saying.

Also, Briere is getting action on Ristolainen, but would require retaining salary unless they wait for the offseason, and perhaps get more in a trade.

Same as it was.

I made it 25 seconds into the video before I had to turn the fat idiot off.

If a lot of interest no need to retain. Looks like a budget hotel to boot.

My heart goes out to ASF.

You’re telling me this man had to report on a Phillies game while also walking his wife through how to stop his plumbing from flooding his house and NOW he has to work while poolside in Turks & Caicos?!?

They're not happy with Cozens, and they need some veteranitis.
They have plenty of prospects, they needs some veterans in the locker room.
Yes, they need vets with a winning pedigree. Not 2 - 3rd line Flyers players who will offer not very much.

If they move Cozens he will get more than middling low-end players. Dont think they have any need for Frost.

It looks like the last few trades made by the Flyers where retention of some sort is haunting the Flyers. Briere has to stop this trend now. Teams are looking at the Flyers as a bank to cover their bad contracts.
There is a market emerging for Risto now. Big RHD with some defensive ability right now is in demand (ex-Toronto, Kings and others). So are vet centers on decently priced deals like Laughton. There are several clubs that need help at center ice. Briere needs to be sharp here and take advantage of the opportunity and not get bent over.

What else should he be using cap room for in the short-run?
It's not the NFL where you can roll it over to the next season.
Use it or lose it.
