Likely Johansen.

These are just the ones we know about! There are certainly more.
I don't think Ryan Johansen is in a position to refuse to play for anyone in the NHL. If it wasn't for Putin, he'd probably already be on his way to the KHL.

Finding depth players is actually easier than finding core players. The Devils are more likely to find depth players than the Flyers are to find core ones.
This right here is extremely important. It's part of the reason why I'm glad they held on to connect me although connect me being a top two to five player doesn't line up with the timeline like I wish it would. It sucks because I hope they don't think they will be going for a cup seriously when TK is still in his prime. Sorry auto spell connect me=Konecny

wait till MM gets under the thumbs of Torts...

theres 0.0% chance Torts will want to be under the shadow of MM..
This is a stone cold lock. This arrogant POS knows he will get so much attention league and world wide when he benches him, he will slop up the attention.

I would bet almost anything it happens in the 1st 10 games too.

I don't have a subscription but one interesting tidbit Charlie mentioned on yesterday's episode was how high he is on Spencer Gill. He sees legitimate breakout upside.
I can see why. August 17 B-day, so played all season at 17.
6'4 185, so lot's of room to fill out, may end up 6'4 220?
Mobile, skilled, if he adds speed as he fills out (lower body strength), could be special.
Certainly worth a gamble at #59.

65g 10-20 30 at ES,
Top scoring Q D-men:
Komarov 60g 11-35 46
Langlois 61g 11-28 39
Schultz 67g 5-24 29
Roy 66g 9-20 29

EP:
Gill is a physical and imposing defenceman who flashes impressive playmaking and scoring abilities. He can hit the smallest of passing lanes, beat opponents with fakes and float shots to the top of the net from the point. Operating with confidence and timing, he’s constantly attacking space and participating in all his team’s plays in the offensive zone.

Have you ever criticized any Flyers draft pick and said it was a bad/horrible pick?

Also, the Quebec league isn't all that great. I don't have much an issue with the pick. See how it plays out like all the others.

I thought he was awful during dev camp. Will try to watch some of his games this year

You can look at production and age and height, which Chaz is basing his comment on, but for a defenseman, it’s not below average — it’s across the board horrific. I know when skating can be fixed, and I’m pretty generous about it. He actually cannot move in any way as a slender guy. Totally broken.

That’s your Flahr 2nd rounder in a draft they passed up maybe the best in the draft. They’re very bad at evaluating defense and consider it the most important position.

The New 32 Thoughts with Elliotte Friedman and Kyle Bukaskas on the Flyers.

-Friedman excited for Michkov, has someone at his gym rubbing it in his face that he’s here early

-Accidentally mentioned ‘keeping Sanheim’ obviously meant Konecny, was harder than they would have liked

-big fan of Ersson, wishes he voted for him for all-rookie team over Kochetkov

-the biggest story is what happens with Johansen. Not necessarily for the Flyers themselves, but the league signed off on his contract termination (which by the way, has not actually happened yet), but the PA really wants to fight this because it’s guaranteed money and feel it’s too big of a win for the league-side if they get what they want.

They’re going through every team so I have to listen to see if they’re mentioned elsewhere
