That was a very, very poor decision by Justin Faulk.
It was a bad mistake, but it was also a bad mistake for Buch, Thomas and everyone on the ice to just not cover Boeser at all.

Honestly i thought the other goals were less difficult to stop than the 3rd one. None were necessarily weak but all savable i think
I just got back from the game, and I have to say I'm more disappointed than happy right now despite the 2 points. An 83.3% save percentage in a game like this is not great, and I get that Boeser is a great goal scorer, but Binnington has to get a piece of that final shot in regulation.
This goes to show that unlike a goalie in the net or a shooter on the ice, television has all the best angles and views because that's how we can see all the action. Being the one in it or not having those angles accessible to you at that moment on the ice doesn't fathom for most watching a game... any game on television or online.Ya man, have you ever taken a slap shot from an NHL player from that distance and had enough time to react and get a piece of it? The answer is no. I personally have taken that shot from that range and I can tell you from personal experience, you hope it hits you because there is no reacting to it at that distance.
Btw this is not to say I played in the NHL, this is saying I have played with NHL players in practice and req leagues.
