It's becoming less and less popular. I NEVER see kids playing hockey in neighborhoods anymore.

All of the kids are into Basketball. Soccer too.

meh. I could shoot hoops any time now and courts are empty. Kids be at home watching something on smart phones in comfortable chairs. Bikes? Half the kids have power assisted bikes now. Powered scooters. I think I've seen powered skateboards.

Soccer to some extent I give you. Soccer organization in this city is topnotch. but amount of youth teams still somewhat limited. Those that do play now, they sure do it well. Just seems to be less kids into athletics of any kind or sports.

Competitive Dance is insanely expensive.

Hockey is a very inaccessible sport - for parents too. Street hockey was super popular when I was a kid in the 90s. Pretty rare for us to see any kids out playing now.

Thats because the city outlawed it years ago. Cant be too safe you know. Bubble wrap your kids before they go outside, dont let them drink from a rubber hose and god forbid they climb up some monkey bars.

Most old people say this, but man is this new generation just messed IMO lol. Probably the laziest generation thus far. Half of the people at my wifes school come to school in pajamas and slippers. ALl zombies on their phones. Zero attention spans

Those atrocious huge mop curly haircuts that come down to their eyes almost lol. Tik Tok dances. Wearing big baggy sweaters in plus 20 weather

A lot of them just have no grit. Give up easily, etc. Now you can't even fail students. Don't get me started ont he pro nouns. My wife has to keep a long list to keep track of every student and their alternate names they don't want to use at home

It'd be nice if anyone in the Oilers organization made a stink about this shit. I've never seen a worse officiated game where multiple players fake injuries to get penalties Tkachuk with a headsnap on something I still think didn't even connect and f*** face lying on the ice when his knee wasn't even touched after giving a 2 minute a minute earlier because Bouchard didn't flop like a fish.

Such a trash call. Fried and the panel said it didn't warrant a 5. I don't even know if it warranted a 2. Foegele never sticks his knee outside of his body's direction. Usually to knee someone that's worth a penalty, you are sticking your knee out, going out of your way to CLIP someone. This is Foegele going straight on, in fact watching it in motion he's trying to make a poke check play on the puck, and the Panthers guy jumps out of the way exposing his THIGH (not knee) that got hit.

I'm getting slight flashbacks to all the obstruction and missed stuff in the Winnipeg series years ago. I guess it's a proven strategy by now though....
