So we only appreciate people who score ?

3 in his last 4GP, each of those 3 being Wins. He's been in integral part of our best line recently, people are just giving credit where it is due. He had to be better, and he stepped up.

Let's just raise his number to the rafters, now.

I'm not saying he hasn't played better, he has. I'd like him to pot a few more, and stay consistent.

He will never be a goal scorer but as long as he creates offense and chances for his teammates he will be a good member of the team.

Agreed. Hope he keeps it up. Plus he's pretty funny on Twitter.

The Zucc line remains intact if they continue to play like this, no coach will remove great chemistry and offense. When they're all healthy the lineup may very well look something like this.

Kreider-Stepan-Zuccarello
Richards-Brassard-Nash
Hagelin-Miller-Callahan
Pouliot-Boyle-Dorsett

Pyatt

Where's D. Moore...?

“Honestly at the start of the season, we had a lot of injuries, so I had an opportunity, but I think I felt the pressure,†Zuccarello told the Daily News. “You want to show them (the coaches), ‘Hey, I can play.’ But I have to keep it simple, make the simple, easy plays, and not put so much pressure on myself like I was in the beginning.â€
“A big part of our line right now is Chris Kreider, the way he’s moving his feet, he’s on pucks,†Stepan said. “And when he does get pucks, he’s getting the puck to Zucc, and Zucc’s making plays. I don’t know how many times tonight Zucc(arello) made a big pass that really breaks down a defense and allows us to kind of get those chances in tight. Those are our two big keys to success tonight.â€

AV sitting him one game may have been the best thing for him.

Watched a sports recap segment on Norwegian tv today. Glenn Jensen, vålrenga goalkeeper was interviewed with the topic being Zucc. Don't know if they are close friends, but he mentioned that Zucc felt he was treated fairly by the previous Ranger coach and felt that the way things shook out were on him.

On the relatively recent , last few games, success he feels that the new coach is giving him a chance and showing confidence in him. So he's playing with more confidence and daring to do things, push himself.

I think he, like most Norwegians, is very humble. I wish him luck.

They where very close friends. Grew up together, played hockey together and Glenn Jensen lived with him the hole year i Russia to keep him company.

I agree with you as long as he is almost always thinking pass first but he can score goals. He just has to have the mindset to shoot. He actually shows a surprisingly hard slap shot occasionally. He also has good hands and a nice backhand. If he went in to every game determined to get 3-5 shots on net I think he would score 20 goals. The irony here is I think he would end up with more assists/points if he shot more because of the rebounds.

Thanks Fredrikstad, I didn't know that. I live in Vestfold 18 years now and try as i may can't get into hockey in Norway. Yet I'll stay up until 04:00 on a workday to see the Rangers. Souray played with VÃ¥lrenga, I think, during the first lock-out season and I went to a game at the Spektrum but decided that was not for me.

I was a die hard Storhamar fan when I was a yonugling, but its right as you say, hockey is pretty hard to get really passionate about in Norway, considering how small it is. Norwegian teams are on average also rather inferior to the European counterparts, so its a little hard to stay devoted.

NHL however is a world known league and has charisma coming out the eyeballs, much easier to get attached to.

His release is one of the better ones on the team. It just seems he always hits the post

Right now, this is the headline on vg.no, Norways biggest newspaper.

We Norwegians are strange. Not a lot to write about.

Zuccarello had a great game in Rangers victory.
Three assists in tonights game. Read the whole story.

The other article to the right there is a guy starting Movember, and the story below Zuccarello is about a bride being attacked during her wedding and brought to the emergency room.

Also, at 3:30 AM, there isnt much happening in Norway (and short of some major international incident, page doesnt usually change much during the night) :)

Edit : Oh, and Norwegians cant spell Stepan's name either, haha :D
