Do not understand your argument. Why should he be satisfied with little playing time, even if he is rookie? The case is about what Zuccarello is capable of performing. Would it not benefit Zucca if he get more playing time with another club?

In the sense that we basically only have Stepan, another rookie, and Prospal, if ever healty again, which is a big questionmark, with any kind of creativity, Zucc brings something to this team that our roster lacks tremendously. Playmaking ability and creativity.

I remember looking at this roster summertime and basically feeling that unless Zucc makes it we would, over the stretch of the season, sooner or later start to struggle tremendously at opening things up. Especially down the line when teams thighten things up -- we would be very easy to read.

So I have a hard time seeing Zucc getting shiped down.

I think I would go with:
Avery-Prospal-Gabby,
Dubi-AA-Cally
WW-Step-MZA
Drury/Feds-Boyle-Prust

Though is Prospal really coming back? In which shape will he be? He could be the odd man out even if healty.

I think the reason Zuccarello seems to survive in the NHL is that bigger guys leave him alone because they don't want to be called cowards for not taking on guys their own size.

But Zuccarello likes to throw his body around, then he should expect something coming his way. If a 230lbs frame hits him with full force one day I hope we don't have to wipe his remains off the ice.

On the other hand, he's so small they'll probably hit the boards instead.

Nah, I mean, in a fight, there are plenty of guys that wouldn't fare well in a fight. You just do not drop em and punch out a star on the other team, nobody did it with Gretzky or any of the other tiny stars we have seen in this league.

And when it comes to hitting, its not easy to hit someone a lot shorter then yourself. And MZA have great agility, he is not hard to catch.

Zucc is in the same boat as Pat Kane, MSL, Gionta and guys like that. I do not think players that size have more injury problems then bigger guys. Philly lost Keith Primaue and Eric Lindros, basically, to injurys suffered from hits, its hard to find bigger and stronger centers then them...
 
This is slightly off topic but i`m a Norwegian hockey fan and i was wondering if any of you know how i can follow Ranger Hockey from here.
Hopefully somewhere i can view older games to as i will not always able to stay up and watch the games live.
 
Re: the post above mine, does anyone know if NHL Game Center archives games? Can you re-watch them if you miss them live?

You get all the regular season games, for all teams. But you'll have to buy a play-off package as well, it's not included. Don't remember the price of that, but probably a few hundred

You can go back and watch every single game of the season. In HD. Absolutely fantastic if you ask me.

Another good thing is that the score is not published on their page, so we from Europe can go watch the game in the morning, without knowing the score (if we want to watch the whole game and get the excitement)

www.hockeystreams.com is better and cheaper. $35 for 3 months should cover the remaining season. You can watch all games live or archived. Quality is very good, I use a hdmi-connection to my 42'' tv...perfect :)

Some say this site is illegal, that's nonsense, it's been around for years.
