That was easily the worst episode of the series, my goodness. It was boring, the new characters they tried developing (will we even see them again) were HORRIBLE and the actresses were terrible and the dialogue all episode was just straight up terrible. Tara was saving the episode but the scene on the bridge with Heath where he comes back and the zombies pull her off the bridge is so bad, perhaps one of the worst scenes on the show (probably even with when the van flipped off the bridge and landed on its tires).

This episode and the Daryl/Beth episode are by far the absolute worst episodes of the series.

Yet another filler episode with the fat girl who is apparently starving but had gained weight since she first came onto the show.

Her running was comical. 20 feet and they had to prob cut scenes.

They tried to hard to make lame jokes etc but overall that honest trailers has been bang on with walking dead in general.

2 great episode, 2 goods and 4 fillers,

Does anybody else take issue with the fact that this show almost always uses attractive women in guest starring roles?

It sounds ridiculous to say about a show featuring zombies, but I find the disproportionate number of attractive females distracts from the realism the show is going for

Here are just a few from the last 2 seasons:

She JUST had a baby when they filmed this episode. She was looking smokin' sitting on the couch.

I'm 20 minutes into this episode, I've never skipped an episode but I honestly don't know if I can watch this.

The acting outside of Tara is so ridiculously horrible and the dialogue is just embarrassing. That little girl and the main girl from the beach just can't act and are beyond cheesy. This should NOT be an episode.

I can honestly say I have no idea what the purpose of this episode was.

Pretty much how I felt.

This should NOT have been a standalone episode on its own. Not at all. They're just killing time until the second half of this season at this point.

I didn't even care about Tara for the most part in this episode, the only parts I actually paid attention to were the ones Heath was a part of.

Was that the biggest waste of time episode of the series? I assume the entire point of it was to set up this community with a **** load of guns for a future plot line where Rick or someone recruits them for an alliance, because they are well armed (although they can't shoot for **** it seems).

Doesn't even make sense that the Saviors would kill all of their men, but let them keep all of their guns

I didn't mind the story line in this episode, but the execution of some scenes was just plain awful

Tara pulling the body out of the sand and within 20 seconds there are a dozen zombies attacking from all directions

And the knife fight between Tara and the other lady in the forest was ridiculous! We've all seen girls fight and it usually just involves a lot of hair pulling and yelling "Let go of my hair, b****!" Never have I seen a no-look elbow thrown and land from the bottom

Was questioning my decision to stop watching the Episode to catch the ending of the KC-Den game and after reading this thread it sounds like I made the right decision. So it looks like the Alexandirans and whoever this group is will eventually team up and fight the Saviors, is that right?

This whole season is a huge letdown. I stopped watching and completely lost interest in the show and all of the characters after the 3rd episode.

Well, it feels like the show runners have never produced a show with multiple stories going on and don't know how to tell the stories besides one episode = one location. Would it kill them to jump from one place to another a la Game Of Thrones? Would that be too expensive? This season's format so far has resulted in too much screen time to nothing characters, bad acting, and uninteresting dialogue.

This show went from mediocre to pure garbage. This season has been downright awful so far. It's almost as bad as "Fear The Walking Dead" now.

I wouldn't go that far but this series has really taken a serious, serious nosedive in quality. It's a huge letdown considering how hyped it was in the summer - "Negan!", "a new world and way of life" etc etc., I'm not engaged at all anymore.

Game of Thrones jumps around too. Most of their episodes focus on one location or a region, often leaving out major characters.

Its something that has to happen with this many characters in a series IMO.

Game of Thrones dedicating a single episode to one group/story is the exception, not the norm.

Most of their episodes don't focus on one location or region, they focus on three or four. One episode, or most of an episode, dedicated to a single location and story is the exception, and they save it for major events (i.e. Blackwater, Hardhome, Battle of the ********).

GoT only focuses on one story line when it's a major event. Most of their episodes incorporate at least 3 different locations.

I'm gonna..
Yeah, I waited all week to see Lena Dunham and Stevie Wonder Jr go out exploring like idiots and get themselves into a bind and Lena ending up in a feminist camp and mirin' all the women and then zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Boring ass, terrible episode. What a sad excuse for a TV show sometimes...

Should be more like the Strain which had consistently good episodes.
