Undertaker vs. Owens
Undertaker vs. Ambrose
Undertaker vs. Harper
Undertaker vs. Rusev
Undertaker vs. Sheamus
Undertaker vs. Kane
Undertaker vs. Jericho

There's plenty for Undertaker to do at Wrestlemania.

I would love Taker vs Jericho, I've wanted that for a long time.

Jericho would be absolute gold in the build up with Taker's gimmick to work off.

But I know most in this place are pretty down on Jericho nowadays. I'd still rather watch Jericho than pretty much anyone on the roster.

People will also complain that they want that Taker match to be giving a rub to somebody full time etc. There's merit to that argument, but that isn't necessarily how WWE sees it. They just want Mania to be as much of a spectacle as they can.

That build up would make me watch at least those segments on the road to Mania.

Agreed. But I really want Taker vs Cena.

I would rather have Jericho over the majority of the guys in MCG's post. It'd be a safe match and Jericho can storytell. The problem is, realistically both men are not anywhere near their prime in-ring ability. The trick to a great Taker match is having one guy in their prime that can storytell. I couldn't imagine how slow that Jericho/Taker match would be and I would have no idea what the motive would be for Jericho and/or Taker. But still... Jericho/Taker is better than pretty much anything else.

The only available feud that would be worth a Taker WM match is probably Daniel Bryan or John Cena at this point. The two guys would be able to put on a ****ing terrific show and the intrigue would be there. Unfortunately both guys are not going to be at WM. There isn't a single other feud that would be WM Taker-worthy.

And before people mention KO... it's just not going to work. I trust him to go with Taker, but the cannonball and the pop-up powerbomb are not moves you can do to Taker at this point. Ambrose COULD make sense if they build the backstory, but I don't trust WWE to do so. As Morozov said, Jericho might sadly be the best bet at this point.

The motive for Jericho is easy. He thinks he's the man, he's the first undisputed champion, now he wants to make history again by being the man to end the Undertaker for good. That's all it needs to be. Scripting any motivation to fight Taker at Mania now is easy even with the streak gone. He's "weak", he lost, the vultures can start swooping in to try finish the job and get that glory.

The motivation for Taker to take a match with him is a little more difficult, but all you need is Jericho to goad him into it to create motivation for him. Jericho is good enough on the stick to make that work. Jump Taker a couple of times, talk about how he's washed up and he isn't scared of him and he's going to end him etc.

I think if Jericho wanted that match and thus was really motivated for it that he'd tear the house down for it. That would probably be the biggest thing left in his wrestling career.

The Rumble is a different sort of situation though. There's a lot of rest periods....far more than what you would find in a 1 on 1 match.

Though he could certainly do 10-15 minutes no problem.

One way or another he had to move around the ring for almost an hour and had several spots to do.

We're not talking about roman here :sarcasm:

Don't want Taker-Jericho.

Jericho is a jobber now who should not get in the ring with someone like Taker. Especially with the fact that he is too slow and has no stamina whatsoever.

Agreed. But I really want Taker vs Cena.

Assuming Sting is officially done. Taker Retirement match Taker/Cena next year sounds like money to me.

Jerhico/Taker isn't a bad idea though. Easy and safe way to have a match. Should definitely be better then Taker/Kane.

Wouldn't be an instant classic but could be decent enough.

I'd rather Chris Jobbercho get the match against the Undertaker than Strowman. At least you know it'll be a good match.

If we don't get Taker-Strowman one-on-one, I'm thinking it's going to be Taker-Owens, or, it could be a 2-on-3 handicap match or six-man tag, either: Taker & Kane vs. Strowman, Harper & Rowan or Taker, Kane & Show vs. Strowman, Harper & Rowan. Just speculating based off Big Show now being involved with The Wyatts on TV as well along with Kane being a pawn in their story.

Neither of these Wyatt matches are ideal, IMO, and the only one that I'd want to see is Taker vs. Harper.

I don't even want to see Taker/Wyatt. Already saw it two years ago, already saw the tag match at survivor series.

If they give Bray his win back I'd love to see Taker and Bray again. I'd also like to see what kind of match they can deliver when Bray doesn't have a frozen ankle to dull the pain.

But they have no intention of Taker losing in Texas (or in general but the location makes it even more set in stone) so I have zero interest.

Some further confirmation it appears.

http://www.pwmania.com/the-undertaker-to-face-braun-strowman-at-wwe-wrestlemania-32

Rumors have surfaced online that according to a source within WWE, the company has plans for Braun Strowman to face Big Show at Fastlane and beat him, which will then lead to a WrestleMania showdown with The Undertaker.

Dave Meltzer has spoken at length in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter about WWE making plans for The Undertaker to face John Cena at the event. However, those plans were scrapped with Cena’s recent shoulder injury and surgery. With a lack of top level opponents for “The Deadman,” it seems the choice has been made to go with the huge monster of the Wyatt Family.

During the early days of his career, The Undertaker would often work with opponents larger than him, such as Giant Gonzalez and King Kong Bundy. This, however, would result in lackluster bouts which The Deadman himself has said he wasn’t fond of (in interviews in the early 2000s when he was the “American Bad Ass”).

While it’s always possible they decide to take a different route, as of right now, Taker versus Strowman apparently appears likely to take place on April 3, 2016, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas

I'm not sure it's 'further confirmation' when it just says that other people are saying there could be some rumours about it maybe happening.

That's hilarious because someone else is reporting that Alvarez got word from a source that Undertaker/Strowman isn't happening, granted I need to actually listen to the audio since people love to put words in Alvarez's mouth.

Seriously though, no one reputable has actually reported that match was going to happen. At best, Meltzer and Alvarez have noted that booking is hinting towards it but they never said for sure it was set in stone or anything past consideration.
